Iron Fence Painting in Aubrey, TX

This project involved repainting a wrought iron fence surrounding the pool and patio area of a residential property in Aubrey, TX. Iron fencing takes a beating from weather over time — the finish had gone dull and gray, with loose, flaking paint and surface rust developing at the joints and rails.

Our crew started with a dry-clean process, hand-sanding off the loose paint and rust rather than stripping the whole fence, then wiped it down to make sure the surface was fully clean before painting. We hand-painted the entire fence using painter’s mitts instead of a sprayer, which takes longer but ensures every bar and rail gets fully and evenly coated without drips or missed spots. The full process took about 4 hours.

The finished result brought the fence back to a deep, glossy black that looks brand new against the stone patio and pool, replacing a tired, weathered finish with one that holds up to sun and moisture without flaking again anytime soon.
